Abstract
Echipamentele care necesită realizarea unor viteze de antrenare variabile sau pentru care posibilitatea asigurării acestor viteze variabile conduce la îmbunătăţirea condiţiilor de funcţionare sau la creşterea randamentului utilizării energiei sunt destul de întâlnite în mediul industrial. Analizând potenţialul de economisire a energiei electrice, aplicaţiile cu potenţialul cel mai ridicat sunt în acţionările pompelor, ventilatoarelor şi sistemelor de benzi transportoare.
